High on Waves

A child is a flower
beyond the thought of power,
a bird flying
without the sense of dying,
a gentle dove
full of sweet love.

A child is humanity
void of vanity,
a guide
amidst worldly pride,
a free soul
pure and whole.

A child is like thunder
full of wonder,
always new
as the morning dew,
a bright sun
at one with everyone.

A child serves
without reserve,
is supreme
like a beautiful dream,
heart soft and tender
in ready surrender.

A child is guru's grace
open to divine embrace,
heaven on earth
in a holy birth,
a song in the motion
of deep devotion.

And you are a child too.
Allow that child to flow in you.
