Salutations to the Devi, to the Mahadevi who is ever auspicious, who is eternal.

Salutations to Her who is the primordial cause and the sustaining power, who is the form of the moon and moonlight and happiness itself.

Salutations to Her who is welfare, prosperity and success, good fortune as well as misfortune.

Salutations to Durga who takes us across difficulties, who is the essence of everything, the knowledge of discrimination.

Salutations to Her who is at once most gentle and most terrible, and the support of the world.

Salutations again and again to the Devi who abides in all beings as consciousness, intelligence, in the form of sleep, hunger, reflection, power, thirst, forgiveness, modesty, peace, faith, loveliness, good fortune, memory, compassion and contentment.

Salutations to the Devi who abides in all beings in the form of Mother.

Salutations to the all-pervading Devi who constantly presides over the senses of all beings and governs all the elements.

Salutations again and again to Her who pervades this entire world in the form of consciousness.
