High on Waves

What is real happiness? Where is it to be found? Material objects alone cannot give you real joy and peace because they are ever changing and impermanent. You also are but a passing traveller through the land of living beings. Your real, permanent abode is God. When you lose inner contact with God, then your life is spent in restlessness, misery and frustration.

Happiness is mental harmony. It is the internal state of perfect satisfaction. Cultivate cheerfulness. Laugh and smile. Look into your heart. Find out what special talent God has given you. Develop it and use it for the good of others. Eradicate negative qualities by practising their opposite positive traits.

Learn to live in such a way that you send out only helpful thoughts. Encourage others with a cheering word. Always be hopeful. Hope sustains, stimulates, encourages, inspires, comforts and cheers. See good in others and do good to others. Let every morning be a new beginning in life. Yesterday is gone. Tomorrow is not here. Today is present. Use it well.

Search for the happiness that does not fade away. The divine power will stream through you as a life-giving force. You will rediscover God. You will be strong, healthy, free, happy and peaceful.
