Applications

To participate in either a Yoga Sadhana and Health Management Course or Sadhana Shivir you need to do the following:

• Fill in the application form in detail.
• Make a bank draft of Rs. 500/- as advance fee.
• The draft should be payable to Bihar School of Yoga, Munger. This advance payment is non-transferable and non-refundable.
• Attach a copy of your recent medical reports. (For HMC only)

Your application will be checked by a medical expert and their decision will be final and binding. (For HMC only)

Admission Procedure

If accepted for the course, you will be sent a provisional admission letter which will indicate the venue (either Rikhiadham or Munger) where the course will be held and the date and time you need to arrive and depart from the course venue.

When you come for the course bring the provisional admission letter and the remaining course fee. Entry to the ashram will not be granted in the absence of the provisional admission letter. After your arrival you will be interviewed by the Course Director and your formal admission to the course will be decided.

Only those people who are able to take full care of themselves in regard to the activities of the daily routine and in personal hygiene will be accepted in these courses.

Persons with chronic problems, communicable diseases, drug or alcohol addictions and physically or mentally challenged people will not be selected. Only applicants between the ages of 12 and 75 years will be considered for admission.

All yoga teaching and tuition is provided free of cost, however, as the course is fully residential, the minimum boarding charges apply. The total Health Management Course charge for full board and lodging is Rs. 2000/- per person, and Rs. 1000/- per person for Sadhana Shivir, which is to be deposited at the time of final admission. The advance processing fee will be adjusted from this amount.

Applications must be received at least one month in advance of the course commencement date. Applications arriving after that date will not be considered. For reply, please enclose a stamped, self-addressed envelope, without which your request will not be entertained.
