Meditation is not something which can be practised; it is a state of mind. When we attempt to go into a meditative state, it is not only the mind which has to be focused and made alert but also the energies moving in the body. When the pranic forces are channelled, it becomes easier to experience the inner self. The body can meditate. The big toe can meditate. The hair on the head can meditate. It may seem extraordinary but it is true. Every part of the body has the ability to experience meditative states.
